Arrayan (Myrtles), Bromelias, Orchids and gigantic Agaves from where materials are collected for the manufacturing of handicrafts. The tour wounds near agricultural farms where sugar cane, corn, yucca, guava and citric fruits are grown, and through country roads and trails towards the Guatoque ravine and its 80-meter waterfall –an ideal place for refreshment and relaxation. On the way back, the tour stops at special places, such as Piedra Movida, Mogolla and the well-known Paso del Angel, with a staggering view of the Moniquira Canyon.
Medium demand hiking tour with an elevation difference of 350 meters. It starts and ends at 2,200 meters above sea level and observes a continuous decline towards 1,950 meters above sea level. It is ideal for any age range, even for mature travelers up to 70 years old, given good health conditions. Broken terrain over rolling hills and long plains. 45-minute vehicle transportation. The actual hiking portion of the terrain is 4 to 5 hours long. Mild temperate/weather with probability of mild rains. Adequate clothes and trekking shoes are a must. Bathing clothes and towels are encouraged.
