Guadalupe is one of our newest destinations on the route towards Barichara, also known as ‘Santander’s Caño Cristales’ for the beauty and reddish color of the flagstones that pave the floor of the crystalline Las Gachas ravine. It is a magical tour that allows the traveler to enjoy a series of natural Jacuzzis while enjoying the astonishing landscape. The tour also visits the village, built in 1715 that features a main square with over 60 towering palm trees and the imposing Our Lady of Guadalupe of Moguer stone church.
Medium-low demand hiking tour with an elevation difference of 180 meters. Ideal for any age group, even for seniors up to 72 years old, given good health conditions. Broken terrain over rolling hills. Hiking duration of 3-4 hours to enjoy the natural Jacuzzis in the ravine. Warm weather with probability of mild rains. Adequate clothes and trekking shoes are a must. Bathing clothes and towels are encouraged.
